passenger side speaker distortion car wash maybe???

I have a panasonic cq-c7303u head unit going to a power ackoustic saphire series amp 4ch the amp is powering 2 ALPINE 6-1/2" TYPR R SPR-17LS COMPONENT speakers I noticed one day that the passenger side speaker went bad do to distortion so I bought another set and replaced that one a few weeks later it went bad again, at least I think, as it sounds scrachy during certin songs and really scrachy when I listen to talk radio(listen often with the head unit on the flat option) Im not sure what it is but now im starting to notice that this proplem did not happen untill I took my truck to the car wash could this have anything to do with it??? if so what can I do????

odd that it's only one freq band, and that it doesn't do it all the time. The intermittent noise problems are the hardest to track down. Does the noise change when you rev the engine ?
