Door Wont open
I have a 1990 buick regl custom and with most side mount door handles they broke off. Then on the drivers side when I tried to get it open the rod that pushes down to open the door also has pulled right out of the door. Now the interior door handle doesent work wither. My question is how do i remove my stuck door. I have pulled the interior panel as for back as posible to see inside the door and pushed up on what I thought was the release arm however I still cannot get the door open. Please help!!!

Welcome to AF
The rod that leads down to the latch pushes down to release, it doesn't pull it up.

Yes I figured that out after working with the door from the outside. I cannot located the lever that is pushed down. So the thing that I pushed up was the release that the inside door handle controls. Am I actually supposed to push that down as welll.
