Question 96 legacy stalling

I have a 94 legacy sedan with a 2.2 automatic. It has been starting hard and stall when put in gear for about the first 5 min of running. It will run fine all day. If you let it sit for 8 hours it will start hard and stall again then be fine. Yes I have a check engne light on.

I have replace the fuel filter, plugs, wires, air filter.

How do I get the code on the OBD I?

any other suggestion. The car runs great after about ten min for the rest of the day, gas milage is about 27MPG,

Thanks for the help

Jim

Re: 96 legacy stalling

Have a tech check your battery and test for a parasitic drain.

Cool Re: 96 legacy stalling

It was the temp sensor on the back of the intake manifold.
