Re: radio leds out...

Please post your year, model type, and motor. Is this radio a factory unit or an after market one?

Re: radio leds out...

I always forget.

I have a 2 door 1999 Chevy Blazer 4x4, The radio is factory and includes a cassette decka nd connects to a 6-disc Cd changer. The Cd changer also clicks when playing a disc...which is a whole other issue.

On the factory Stereo units. Inside the face plate there are several small low power LED's that light up your controls, if only one side is not workin. Then you more then likely you have a loose or cold solder on the circuit board. Unless you have or know someone that has access to the curcuit prints. Its not going to be worth sending it in for repair. You'd be better off just picking up an after market deck. The plus is that you'll even get better sounds.

Re: radio leds out...

Thank you for the reply. That really stinks. Is it unusual for half the lights to go out...almost bothers me more than if all the lights went out
