Loud Ticking

My wife's car ticks very loudly when it is warm, now I know that it is the valves doing it but is there anyway to quiet them down without taking the valve cover off?? I've tried the motor honey stuff and it did not work.

Re: Loud Ticking

What was your solution? Mine starts to tick pretty heavily around 3000 rpm. I know it's the valves, but what can be done to fix it?
