Small problem: I started my '01 GA GT this morning and was greeted with a simple "ERROR" on my monsoon stereo. No code association at all, just plain "ERROR" accompanied by a solid red anti-theft light(on the stereo). The car started fine and ran normal otherwise, but the stereo would not respond in any way. Any ideas? I can only imagine that the problem may have something to do with bypassing the passlock function a while ago.(Which was the greatest automotiveforum fix ever btw)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Stereo ERROR - Anti-theft Light
Was the battery dead? The anti-theft system disables the radio if power is lost. Check your owners manual and other information with it to see if a previous owner (if there was one) wrote the radio unlock code down in the section about the radio. There is a procedure to unlock them, it only involves pressing a few buttons and callin an 800 number. Unfortunatly, I don't know it from memory. It may be on the internet somewhere. Otherwise, I'd bet Xeroinfinity knows it
