Heat & Vibration

Two questions - probably unrelated. 2001 Sahara 4.0 - just this morning heat stopped working, but only at idle. Works fine while driving. Also - a week or so ago a mild to moderate vibration started, but only at 55mph. OK at 45 - OK at 65....where should I start?

Re: Heat & Vibration

I'm not the heating/cooling guy, but might guess vacuum activation under the dash could be at fault, since at idle your vacuum is different than when on the road.

For the vibration, start with balancing and rotating your tires, especially if you've gone more than 15K miles without rotating.

How many miles? If over 120-150k, shocks might be an option.

Thumbs up Re: Heat & Vibration

Yup..always start with the simple stuff. Had the tires balanced and rotated...wobble is gone. Also flushed and re-filled the radiator - heat hasn't been an issue since.

That was easy.
