Thumbs up Finally got the header/downpipe on the Talon! **PICs**

Finally got the header and downpipe on last night, of course I had to take the car to Monro so they could loosen the bolts on the cat so I could take off the downpipe, because even a whole weeks worth of spraying liquid wrench on them couldn't help me with that. After I went to Monro I brought the car back home and went straight to work.

The car sounds pretty gruffy with the header on now, and maybe its just me but it does a feel a bit quicker. The header turned blue after a drive to the mall though, It sounds great though and I can't argue with that.

Anyway here are some pics:

I had to cut off the Manifold cover... hey it worked

Ugly Stock Manifold

It's me! The Coke can is the best mod on the car, I get 20 HP from it.

Now that is pretty cool!

Downpipe

It turned blue after a drive to the mall, it actually looks pretty cool.

Just the car on the jack stands.

The header will change colors. That bright stainless steel look goes from that to blue, to a gold, to non-shiny then. Just make sure you don't touch anything to the header when it's hot or it will stain and stay on forever.

Looks good though. eBay header? And is that one of the "pop-in" header-DP with no flange?

Yeah it's an eBay header. A header is a header.

Looks good man, I noticed a difference up top when I put my header/downpipe on.

Re: Finally got the header/downpipe on the Talon! **PICs**

A 4-1 header will add more hp and torque on the higher end. When I added mine, it pulled more at ~3200rpm and stayed constant til redline.
A 4-2-1 will add more low end power, and dip off up top. Usually range from 1500rpm to about 6 grand or so.
