mmmmm....workout food!

Im just curious if anyone has any interesting recipes or concoctions to give yourself a little extra boost to your workouts or to try and help get all the protein you need each day.

Protein shake:
2 scoops muscle milk (or any other protein powder)
3 cups skim milk
1 cup oatmeal
2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
1-2 bananas (or apples, berries, or whatever fruit I am in the mood for)
plus any creatine, glutamine, etc that i might be taking at the time

throw it all in the blender and slurp it down!
Its full of protein, healthy carbs, natural sugars, everything you need!

Homemade protein bars:
equal parts of protein powder, natural peanut butter, and oats

Mix together, flatten out on a cookie sheet, and put in the fridge for a few hours. Cut them into bars and there you go! Perfect for a quick snack or when you are running late in the morning. You can always mix in some fruit or try almond butter for a change of pace.
