Ford Fusion vs. Mistubishi Lancer
Hello,
I am am a jr. in highschool and I am looking for a new car. I have narrowed it down to the Lancer and Fusion (both 08'). My Dad is paying for the car and he thinks the Fusion is the best car to get. I am looking at the ES Lancer. I am trying to convince him to buy me the Lancer, as I highly like the looks of the car. I plan to race with the car I get, at some point. This is more my Dads choice as what car I get, rather than mine, so I need a good argument for why I should get the lancer. Thank you, Roland. Last edited by Titanoh; 04-27-2008 at 07:57 PM.

The Lancer ES, despite its looks, is not a race car. It is not fast. It just LOOKS fast. It is also somewhat poorly built.
The Fusion is a much better car.

When I was your age there is no question the Lancer would be my choice compared to a Fusion , and what did your dad drive when he was your age ? , a four door family sedan ?
The Lancer comes with a better warranty than the Fusion and should outlast any problems that may happen down the road, however I must agree with the previous answer by drdisque that the Fusion is a better build car
