Just got a 300M 2002 Special

Was looking for awhile and found my black 300M. I pulled the trigger because it is a special model and price was right. 1 owner, 92.5K miles for less that $6500. Main issue is scratch on the hood that I will need to have resprayed. Any idea on what cost i should expect for a respray?
I will get the car next week as a few things are getting fixed by the seller upon request. What should i give a special attention? Got a 2000 concorde LXI already and that car had a front end issue.

At 100,000 miles you need a new timing belt. When you change that out you should get a new water pump at the same time. The pump is in the same area ant the timing belt needs to be removed to get to it, so it is a lot cheaper to do it at the same time instead of a later date. Also, you need new plugs and need to change out the coolant and the trans/diff fluids.

You got a good deal on your special. What color?

Black / light tan interior. Is the water pump easy access?. I was planning on changing all fluids.

The water pump is easy access while you are doing the timing belt. If you want to just do the pump, the timing belt must be removed to get it done. Therefore, do them both at the same time at the 100k mark. Saves you time, money and aggravation.
