2005 SV6 Electrical Gremlins

About 3 months ago, my Montana wouldn't start in the driveway. I had it towed to the GM dealer and they relpaced the battery saying it was just an old battery and the very cold winter we had put it out of its misery. Fast forward 6 weeks, same thing happens. Dealer is able to get it going in my driveway and takes it back to the shop to hook it up to the load tester. There were no drains on the battery but the battery is dead, again. Van runs fine for another 6 weeks, then won't start in my driveway again. They towed it back to the dealer, hooked it up to the load tester again and guess what....there are no drains on the battery but it is completely dead again!!!

Doesn't the vehicle have a drain protection system that prevents that battery from completely pooching?

Anyone out there experiencing similar problems? Any ideas what it could be?

Thanks

Re: 2005 SV6 Electrical Gremlins

on the 05 's here the gm dealer replaces the regulator in the Alternator. i think gm had a recall on it. it maybe a dome light timer, power sider door (dirty contacts), or the Body Control Module jerking the battery around. the vans in town here have had the electrical gremlins and the dealer has them fixed and on the road. good luck 463
