2001 pontiac grand prix gt 3.8 non s/cpop hood passanger side right side behind the alternator near the fire wall there is a blue plug that is not plugged in. What is this for i looked at a 03 grand prix and it had the same thing? ps if you need a pic of the plug please let me know thank you guys

Just to be sure post a pic. What is the wiring color coding? The only connector I can think of in that area which is not used for normal operation would be the fuel pump test connector. This is for test purposes only where you can apply 12 volts from the battery direct to test the fuel pump.
