allclad

I've seen allclad paint mentioned alot and saw results.
What is it and what do I look for/where?

Is it just for airbrush or can it brushed on?
The engines I've seen with allclad look so much better than reg. aluminum...

Must be airbrushed on, over a gloss black base.

Actually, let me step in and correct something. Alclad makes many different 'colors', not all have to go over a black base for the best results, different shades of metal require different bases.

It does require the use of an airbrush though.

Ah, I didnt know that. I thought that all the Alclad, for best results, had to go down over gloss black.

unless you're doing chrome coloring then you use gloss black as base...
be careful the type of base you're using, alclad II are lacquer based.
