Question '07 Sonata auto trans shift points

Hi everybody, this is my first post here. I bought a 2007 Sonata SE V6 with 32k miles. With a normal takeoff, the transmission shifts from first to second almost as soon as I get rolling, around 2000 RPMs. That's unusually early compared to every automatic I've driven since 1972. If I give it about half throttle, it will spin on up to 4K or so, but I don't always want to launch into busy intersections like that.

Most newer cars' TCM will learn your driving habits and adjust over a hundred miles or so, but I've seen no difference yet. Has anyone else noticed the low shift point?
