Hood Scoops That Works
Where Do You Get these (like this one down) and how to install? do you have to have a new hood...Does a scoop with a short ram intake related to it push more power then a CAI that goes outside the engine bay?

That was custom made. I spoken to this kid. He's from CA, and he's on the maxima.org. His maxima was repainted 3 times, because he wanted a NEW look, hehe. The color that u see on that picture, is his original color, after that 2nd color was orange, and 3rd color was Skyline Blue. I think his maxima is TURBOed now. Not sure tho.

that's a beautiful car, i'll tell ya that. Love the scoop, too bad it is custom made and not in mass production. I would love to do that to my car but like Spaz said it would be killing the sleeper effect.

Hum..anyone know how he did that?? What did he use for the scoop?? maybe i should by a fake scoop and make a hole throught it hehe....Yeah I know it ruins the sleeper but it looks kewl...but would it make more power like that then with a CAI outside the engine heat?

As of now CustomMaxima.com is having a contest to get a good hood scoop design, then will have another one of those "release" dates.
Theyre making the whole hood in CF or FG not just the scoop.

and I don't know if it has a purpose unless I see what's under the hood
