I don't see the model year, but should all be close. You need to use a body panel tool to reach behind and pop the plastic snap-ons. My van has the sliding door motor under the panel so I've been in there a couple times.
The tool looks just like a nail puller pry bar, but thinner.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, you have to pop those off starting at the bottom and working your way up. But the top has an edge that fits down in a slot near the window. So while putting it on, you would locate the top in its slot near the window and then tilt the cover down so that the popcorn sanps meet their holes.

What makes you think there's trailer wiring in there?
Shouldn't be any there, its below the deck and comes up inside under the carpet just behind the driver's seat. What year is this?

Re: Removal of inside panel, rear of vehicle

Have fun getting it off, wife jammed up the passenger slider last week, she was in the front, I stopped in the driveway and she had found out that hey I can push the button to unlock the door to get out before I put it in park, daughter heard it and pulled the handle to get out at the same time it hit park and tried to set the door so it would open and bang whole thing jammed up. I kicked the heck out of it and no fix, ripped the top door panel off and broke every clip off. Might have to replace the WHOLE door panel now that the door finally unjammed.

Re: Removal of inside panel, rear of vehicle

whoever did the wiring routed it through the grill at the bottom of the rear panel. Not a very professional way.Got the panel off, then found it was the actual rear brake/indicator light board that was screwed.bought a used one and now its fixed.have to replace a couple of those little plastic thingies that hold the panel on.thanks for the replies.
