SE bumper on a GT-ugly?

I am fixing an 1999 GT I bought cheap. I bought an new fender and hood, but it already has a SE bumper on it. Should i leave it or would it look gay? It does have the fog lights on it so the major difference is really just the grill I think. Since the car is black, i plan on blacking the whole thing out, like black rims and stuff, so I figure it may look cool with the blacked out SE grill. What do yo guys think?

Re: SE bumper on a GT-ugly?

It is really just personal taste. I would put a GT bumper on it myself. The GT bumper looks more aggressive.

Re: SE bumper on a GT-ugly?

I would rather have a GT bumper too, but i already have the SE bumper so i am trying to save money. Plus i can't find one at the local boneyard. It'll be hard to tell if i like it until i paint it i guess. I was hoping someone has this setup already and has a pic.

Re: SE bumper on a GT-ugly?

if your talking about the first model SE bumper, its got to go. i think they are some of the ugliest front ends out there, no offense to anyone ha. so go for the GT bumper. check out ed morads ebay store or call his number. he has every part imaginable for grand prixs. if u cant find his number i can find it for u.

Re: SE bumper on a GT-ugly?

I would say put on the GT bumper. I have a 2000 SE with the sport package and the 3800 but it had the SE bumper. I bought a GT bumper from ebay and and had Macco paint it and it looks great. i've had it for 2 years now and it looks completely stock there is no difference in the color at all and it looks 50 times better that the SE bumper.
