NEED HELP. HAVE 2002 JAG X TYPE SPORT WITH ALPINE SYSTEM.
THE PROBLEM IS ALL TWEETERS PLAY AND 2 REAR SUB SPEAKERS PLAY BUT
THE FOUR DOOR SPEAKERS NOTHING. LOCAL JAG DEALER SAYS BY VIN ON
CAR NO AMP IS POWERING THEM. I HAVE MY DOUBTS ABOUT THAT,HAVE
HOOKED UP OTHER SPEAKERS TO WIRING AND STILL NOTHING .
HAS ANYONE RAN INTO THIS PROBLEM If,, SO MANY THANKS FOR INFO
TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM.

Are the Amp finals blown in your system!
Action:
1) Balance system left + right.
2) '' Fader Frnt + back.
3) '' Base Adjustment!
4) '' Tone Adjment!

Note: All speakers should sound the same.

If the system is bad go to BestBuy and buy a new system,IPOD,and a GPS.
New system - $200
IPOD - $140
GPS TOM - $150

Don't buy the ones with all the new stuff,you will pay too much!
The IPOD and GPS can be used in any car.

has anyone had same problem from this type system if so please responed.
i dont want to buy other system want to keep it factory just need insight on what to look for to repair.

I have worked on Highly complex Teleco equipment,Computers,TV's,and
stereo''s for 20+ years.

Your car is almost a decade old and your stereo don't work.

How much is the car worth?

If your lucky, these days you can get a bench check free!

Ask the repair shop how much for repair?

I'am sorry dude,it's a throw away society!

You wouldn't expect a doctor to coach you to perform surgery.

Have one of the Technicans check it out for free at BestBuy Auto section.

It's always Good to have 2nd + 3rd opinions.

Check EBAY for JAG used stereo ,if you want to keep cheap + original.

Caution - If you buy a used OE ALPINE stereo for JAG X TYPE, How much wear + tear
on CD dirve unit?

Thanks for the help but not amp problem just four bad speakers,
replaced them and all is well. Many thanks for all that helped.
