Smile Engine Swapping Questions

I'm fairly new to all of the engine swapping stuff so I have a few questions. I'll give you the down low of my car and what I'm thinking and then maybe you guys can point out my faults or suggestions. First of all I drive a 1993 Honda Civic LX Sedan. For those of you who don't know it is a 1.5L SOHC 105HP engine. I am somewhat tight on money.

I would like to swap a B18C1.

Do I have my facts straight when I say that a B18C1 is a USDM GSR engine with 180HP@8000RPM and 134ft-tq@7500RPM and a OB1 P72 ECU?

What kind of modifactions to my engine bay, mounts, chasis, exhaust system, battery location, and etc. to fit this engine in my car?

Is there any other place cheaper than http://www.jdmhondaparts.com to find a B18C1 in good condition?

What is the purpose of the LSD?

What is the LSD?

What does a dual-butterfly intake system mean (also found on http://www.jdmhondaparts.com)?

Has anyone tried the new P72 ECU that JDM HONDA PARTS sells?

I know I have a lot of questions, but I want to make sure I have all of my bases covered before I go out and spend a couple thousand dollars. Any help, suggestions, or comments are greatly appreciated.

Doesn't go well with swapping, especially since your wanting a GSR.

Many www.hybridrevolution.com
www.passwordjdm.com
www.hmotorsonline.com
www.importautosalvage.com

What is the purpose of the LSD?
Limited slip differential,it transfers power to wheels as needed, and it is VERY recommended.

Quote:
What does a dual-butterfly intake system mean
Intake Air Bypass,a system of butterfly valves that help the motor produce more power at high RPMs

You need to convert to a four wire o2,run the knock sensor, vtec and IAB.

The swap is pretty straight forward and a combo of your mounts and the mounts from the B18C will work. The motor drops right in, as far as you being tight with money a decent B18C is gonna run you at least 3,000-3,500 dollars so if your tight with money don't even think about it. There are a ton of sites that will take you through a step by step process on how to do this swap its not hard at all if you have any machanical skills at all. You'll have to do all the things rcrx told you plus you have to use the GSR drive axles, they work with your stock wheel hubs so you don't have to swap that. Good luck I hope you have a engine hoist.
