New 5.7 Vortac crate engine

Can you still get a brand new 5.7 Vortac crate engine?

What about the trans and transfer case?

If so, what dealership would have one?

It's for a 1998 5.7 z71 ext.cab 4x4

How about calling a local GMC/Chev dealer, I am sure their info is right up to date on all your questions.

Jasper is cheaper than GM on reman engines with a 3 year,100,000 mile warranty.Jasper does not use the plastic intake gaskets anymore and uses the updated metal ones from Felpro.Jasper threw away all their plastic intake gaskets away,what they had left and repacing them with the metal intake gaskets from Felpro.

I did call and the local GM guys are clueless!

I have had them tell me something is/is not avalible only to find out later they were wrong.

That is the reason I am asking HERE!!

I called my guys here and they have a plethora of new Vortec 350's of all coverages, seems silly your dealer has no access to this! Same with transmissions which are reman units.
