Black Ferrari Enzo, As Promised (WIP)

Here we go, my latest project. Used a regular HB pencil that i actually got from Seaworld when i went to florida. Now, back in the UK i'm putting it to good use.

Need to do wheels and finish off the front:

Re: Black Ferrari Enzo, As Promised (WIP)

That is amazing work.

How do you go about getting rid of the grid in areas like the windshield where you can see it through the shading? Do you just erase and then re-shade the spot?

Re: Black Ferrari Enzo, As Promised (WIP)

sexy car and a sexy drawing in progress mate

if you wanna smooth it out a bit use a cotton bud/q-tip and rub over the shading it works a treat

look forward to some more progress

Re: Black Ferrari Enzo, As Promised (WIP)

Yeah, i'll do what i always do, "sharpen" my eraser, rub out all the lines around the car, then use a q-tip/cotton bud to smooth the pencil marks (helps get rid of grid lines too)

That looks great! Black is always a very intersting color when drawing cars. The reflections really pop out here.

Re: Black Ferrari Enzo, As Promised (WIP)

Sorry Guys, Bad and good news rolled into one here.

I'm at high school as some of you may know, in my last year. I've just had the good news, that i have been offered a place at British Aerospace, where i have been working my A$$ off to get into.

So now its occured to me my studies are the most important thing in the world. Sorry, but no more drawing/chatting unless breif, until after my exams, roughly the 16th of June.

THANKS for understanding

Re: Black Ferrari Enzo, As Promised (WIP)

Turns out the contract for the apprenticeship i mentioned before has been withdrawn.

What bad news. I'm not gonna be drawing or doing much for a while, i feel i'll rip the paper if i screw up even slightly.
