I run 3 w7's and it's a great setup if you don't mind adding almost half a ton. IF it's straight SPL you want check out MMATS Juggarnauts. I have plugged one of these things into the wall for 4 hours and nothing happened except it hummed at 60 hz. Last time I checked they were about 5-600 bucks a piece. Mate a PPI 2400 or a SoundStream Tarantula and deafness shall follow.

Hehehe, RE(drool) my friends just got their SE 15"s in the other day and i drooled over them, i gonna be ordering my XXX 18" from them next month.

One thing you look for, is the cone material. SQ speakers will tend to have an alunium cone. This will up the price. Rember just cause it cost more, doesn't mean it is better. An RE SE cost about $200 dollars and is one of the best subs out.

Which sub?

I am looking for a LOUD sub, but I don't want to sacrifice sound quality. I am looking at the 15" MTX RFL-152 and the 12" JL W7. Which one between those would be the best (I hear its the W7). Also, is there anything better than that? Price isn't an issue basically.....I am willing to spend $1500 for the sub.

if you want SQ, don't go with the MTX RFL. your best bet would be W7. then i would take the better audio sub, which cost less than the brahma right now. who doesn't like saving money?
