1st gear wants to pop out...only 1st
well, my purchase of a previous car i was askin about went belly up...so, i'm looking at another car and, well, of course another question...looking at a diff car now...it's an eg coupe si...when we took it for a test drive we noticed that in 1st when starting to accelarate normally (not punching it) it seemed like it wanted to pop out of gear (the shifter moved/popped but never actually popped out) this didn't happen in other gears though. they guy doesn't know if the clutch has ever been changed in the 14 years he's owned the car (so i'm guessing not). is this just something that happens on hydraulic tranny's when the clutch is wearing down or ??? any info would be great.
