Cams for my friend

Hey guys. I have a 3000gt, so I'm unfamiliar with this neck of the woods. My roommate has a 97 1500 pickup and he's looking into getting some cams. Could anyone point me/us in the right direction as far as reputable companies and fair prices go?

If it makes a difference, it's a single cab with AT. Only mods are Intake and exhaust.

Best way here is to contact Comp Cams or Crane or any other major cam mfg, they can suggest a cam suited for your friends needs/purposes.

first of all, there is only 1 cam in these engines, which is a lifesaver when budget constraints exist. there are probably some decent roller cams out there that will increase torque down low and help get his truck off the line like a dream
