Need new stud, but confused...

Last year, I had some work done to my car, including the replacement of my drivers side front wheel bearing. I'm not sure what "Quality" of bearing the mechanic I used replaced it with, but when I brought my car in for an oil change/tire rotation, they broke the stud on that exact wheel bearing. I'm going to leave the expletives out! Anyway, I wanted to know if anyone else ever had to replace the WB and a stud broke, and if so, where did you find the replacement? We tried about three different studs and none of them fit correctly so I'm kinda at a stand still on this one. Thanks!
