Gt5

Well, today I went out and bought it. Though it is only part of it and the full version will be finished in about a year, I am still loving it. Insane graphics, and a lot of fun to play. Not a whole lot of car selection in the prologue (which is what is in stores now), but it's enough to tide me over for the time being. Anyone else playing it?

Re: Gt5

Nope, no PS3. I'm waiting until next year hoping that they have more exclusive titles I like so I can justify buying one.

Re: Gt5

im playing it. its fun none the less, but when you get into online mode, the name of the game more is how hard can you crash without being penalized for it. also, around all the turns are crashes galore. if you are in front of someone, and you are a rwd car, and they are awd, they clip the rear wheel and send you into a frenzy if you have all the assists off.

Re: Gt5

yeah i got it! I HATE IT!
you cant tune your cars, you start right away without even having to get the licenses, theres only about 60 cars and the online is a joke.

I got conned into buying it. The guy that sold it to me said there would be regular updates and cars you can buy.....yeah right.

graphics look the same to me to be honest and I have an LG HDTV with an $80 HDMI cable and the settings bumped up all the way to 1080.
I think past a certain point the human eye just cant tell the difference and that point was reached in GT4.

oh and all the cars I want are not there and all the cars I could care less for are there.

The ASM and TC assists are overly exagerated when you turn them off. it makes every car spin even if its a Capuccino with 62 bhp going 30 mph. Its as if the physics engine for the game thinks your driving on black ice.

I dunno, its pointless to buy this game since its only a hold-em-off till the real thing happens. I think Polophony Digital is waiting for the lead program director to be born 5 years from now, wait for him to grow up and go to school and then he can finish the game for us.
Srsly by the time they finish all the cars in that game will be old news. yeah they have the GTR-35 in it but by the time it reaches stores the GTR-37 will be in production.

i have to agree with you on ti jsut a bit, but not religiously. it all depends on your throttle control, and how much you are turning. i swear, if you turn the car with less 'effort', the car will actually turn when travelling at faster speeds. with a car like the corvette z06, i have to have the tc on and the asm to an extent. otherwised, the thing is tail happy.

just wait till you get enough money, and do all the events. you will like the fact where you can tune it a bunch. heck, i do.
if you guys see me, im under the name homiegplatinum for the time being, as my dumb ass rommmate registered his own creditcard and blah blah on it...

Re: Gt5

try and update it during the middle of the day if possible. it worked for me. all the update does is allow you to watch the behind story of the gt-r and the evo x...thats the only differences that i could tell on.

ohh reminds me, the new tracks for each online event should be out tomorrow
