Are there any HID sets available for the 99-00 Civic coupe that are DOT approved?

i don't know if there is a legal kit but i bought mine from www.autotoys.com and it is the k2 kit, 7000k. they are bright as hell only thing u lose the high beam function. but i garuntee you that u won't need them. oh by the way i drive a 2000 civic, so it is a h4 bulb. and installation took 20 mins real easy and quick

Oh alright. Cause my car is a outstanding red, Metallic Candy Apple Red, I don't want to have the Police writing tickets on me for the lights.

i live in manhattan and no cops has ever said anything to me about them. but i have had drivers flip me the bird when they get stuck on a turn and i am the first car on the line cuz my lights are right in his face and on the high way u see way better, this is the best mod i have done to my car, the only draw back of having these hid's is when itt is raining the blue/white is harder to see, thats why u see lexus have them yellow fogs so u can see better, yellow and green are the colors u see best with in the fog
