85 IROC V8 fan blades how many?

I just got this '85 IROC V8 TPI Automatic with A/C and it likes to get hot (creeps over 220 if stuck in traffic). I figured out that it's the fan. The problem was the fan was physically stuck up against the radiator. I pulled it out and noticed the fan was all warped and possibly the fan mount. I was told a V8 Camaro with A/C had a 7 blade fan. Is this wrong? Should it just be the 5 blade like I've currently got? I'm looking on eBay for a used fan so I want to make sure I get the right one. Thanks in advance.

5 blades. And 220 in traffic is about normal once moving it should drop to 195, like a rock.

Re: 85 IROC V8 fan blades how many?

It starts creepin up pretty quick once stopped. I know for a fact the fan wasn't running because of how it was warped it was just stuck up against the shroud or the radiator. I'm ordering a used one off ebay, hopefully it'll go in okay. When trying to mess with the old one though, it seemed like there wasn't much room inbetween the motor's forwardmost pulley and the radiator for the fan. The motor for the fan seems to want to sit between the two power steering hardlines. This all seem right? I guess when I get this new one I'll find out.
