97 Jimmy stalls
My 97 Jimmy 4.3 will stall at any time . There is a delay before the dash lites come on and it will start back up and no problem for a while. If the lights are not on the panel it will not start. Any ideas it is scary because I lose steering and brakes. Help.

A 97 is a bad year for ign switch problems.
Check voltage in and out of it. Wiggle and tap it and see if it acts up. Look up in the how to sections for ign switch replacement. Also check battery cables and ends and other wiring for bad connections or being lose. MT
