Anybody Auto-Cross or do any type of road racing?

Just curious to know if anybody does any auto cross or road racing? I've been doing auto-cross over the last year and its a blast.

I'd love to do one or both atleast once. The only thing is I think that its aweful hard on a car, and I really dont want to deal with fixing more shit that I have to. Also, I dont really have the brakes or suspension to do it.

I agree with Thor, it would be too expensive to fix things that may brake off. I think it would be really fun though, like the open road couorse they have in texas I believe.

Considering that I have an evo now, and it would pwn, I probably SHOULD do it, but I haven't lol. I'd love to try it out though!

I havnt broken anything on my car yet... knock on wood, but im using stock brakes and suspension and it does fine. The one thing that makes a huge difference it seems are tires night and day difference. Ive ran my car around 8-10 times with 125000 miles. O' yea Evo's do quite well

Ha ha, well, Evo's are pretty much made to handle like sex. I dont think I'd ever make an Evo a drag car specifically for that reason... might as well just do a DSM. Eventually when I get the car done I might take it out, but we'll see.

pathetically enough I did autocross with corvettes on a track. however you spend most of your time in high rpms and barely shifting between gears and its very very hard on the car. i actually beat their times (most) and never broken anything....
