Seat Belt Beeping

Hi, I drive a 2008, 2 door honda civic. I've tried disconnecting the wire under the seat so that the car won't beep when the seat belt isn't worn but it turns off the air bags also. Wondering if anyone knows which fuse or other wire to disconnect so it only disables that damn beeping. Thank you for all your help.

Re: Seat Belt Beeping

the way you turn the beeping off would be to put your seat belt on hello the reason the airbags dont work when you unplug the seatbelt chime is beacuse airbags are meant to be used with a seatbelt so no seatbelt no airbag also the airbag can hurt you really bad with no seatbelt also youll save yourslef a ticket too
