Angry MY Oil Light Won't Turn Off

I just got my oil changed on my 2002 330ci (the car's first one) and the oil indicator on the dash won't turn off. The dealership checked the sensor and it was fine. The dealership also called BMW technical support and they are "working on the problem". I was hoping someone else has run into this problem or knows what could be causing this. Please help.

Dear God, I hope you don't mean oil pressure light!? I know of a guy who put the wrong size oil canister filter on his and ended up trapping the oil passages in the engine, (thus causing a loss of oil pressure and or oil circulation) when the oil filter got shredded because it was the wrong size and all these pieces of paper ended up all over the crevaces of the engine, he had to take that whole damn thing apart.

Yeah, it's the oil pressure light. But it wasn't from the oil canister or anything. The oil change was done at the dealership. Does that help?
