Geoff Brabham's 1994 Brickyard Thunderbird
Well i finally finished this one after a long drawn out build. Fairly basic build just added some engine & interior wiring, lowered the ride height and modified the seat. This is the car that carried the first Australian to race at Indy in a Nascar. Having an issue with the side window at present, it seems too large but i think this is due to the clear has made the opening somewhat smaller..
Tamiya white with 2K over it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: Geoff Brabham's 1994 Brickyard Thunderbird
Hey Shayne.
Looks nice. Very neat and clean. I was having a similar problem with my 2K clear paints. One thing I do now is try and keep the coat as thin as possible. Secondly,I shave off the clear where I want to glue things.ie window surrounds or bonnets. Makes things sit flush again. Or you can always shave off some of the window.

Man, it looks like you just took that thing out of the dunk tank!! Looks sharp though, I like the white and simple graphics. It really works on that car!
