Jimmy 4WD front half shaft how to remove

Well wasnt thinking today when I did not put something to protect the outer half shaft boot when drilling the lower ball joint rivet out. Drilled though and just caught the edge of the boot near the steel clamp ring. only about an 1/8 of an inch, so for now I will cover with marine adhesive and a strip of steel, JB welded to the boot clamp ring. I will check in a few months. Now my question, how does the right half shaft come off the drive unit extension. I pulled on it and it would not move, I hesatate to hammer on it since Im not sure how it comes off. There only 70 bucks and maybe I will replace if my repair job shows grease coming from the boot. Also what are people talking about, some thrust bearing coming off when changing the shaft????

thx

No bolts, looks like it slips in but when I pushed on it it did not move.

Thx

If no bolts you will have to seperate lower ball joint from spindel.
And recove outer joint big nut and push outer joint back threw the spindel bearing.
The pop/pull the inner axle joint out of differental.
