Rocker torque?

I did the Intake manifold job on the van but am having some trouble. I torqued the valves to 124 in lbs. not seeming to have much luck. Any help would be appreciated?

Re: Rocker torque?

Please forgive my pickyness, but you should be torquing the roker arm bolts. You need to make sure that the proper pushrod for the exhaust side is in the right place. The pushrod for intake is shorter than the one for exhaust. Don't ask me which hole is which when looking at the engine. You need to make sure the pushrods are properly seated in their cups. There is a possibility that you will have lifters bleeding down. You need to retorque to 124 in. lbs. When finished torquing to 124 in. lbs, you are then suppose to torque an additional 30 degrees. You know, from 1 oclock to 2 oclock. What part of this are you not having luck with?
