Seeking Eaton Supercharger M62 (or OEM/aftermarket)/rebuild
Greeting Fellow members,
I first hope this is the correct forum to post. I am currently seeking any and all information pertaining to an Eaton (OEM and/or Aftermarket) M62 Supercharger for a 92 Buick Park Avenue Ultra. To the best of my knowledge I need to replace or rebuild my current one, as it is presently making a very loud noise at idle pointing towards the original bearings. If you have information on where I can purchase one for a reasonable price, (or your shop) can supply me with one or know a shop that works with them the best way to contact me is through [email protected]. However, I understand if you would also like to post through the forums as well so others seeking this information may have a resource. Please include as much information as you can such as your name, the name of the shop/company, price, website, and physical address along with any additional relevant information. I appreciate you taking the time to advise me. If you seek any added information, let me know. Thanks. [email protected] |

Welcome to AF.
What specific issue are you having? Can you describe the noise? For Eaton blower rebuilds checkout the company at the following link. Click here

Re: Seeking Eaton Supercharger M62 (or OEM/aftermarket)/rebuild
I highly recommend Canadian Superchargers...http://canadiansuperchargers.com. I purchased a rebuilt SC for my '92 PA Ultra about 4 years ago. At the time they were also selling through ebay and I got a pretty good deal on it.
Not long after I installed the replacement, I noticed an oil leak between the nose and the main body. I called them and they were happy to ship another. Well, I decided not to take them up on their offer as the leak was slight. But the unit's been doing a super job (pun intended). I've read other comments about Canadian SC's over at the Bonneville Club forums.....in the forced induction section and they do have a very good reputation. Have a look at this thread........http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=96644 within it there's a link to another thread about magnetic SC plugs. BTW, the unit that was shipped to me came from within Florida, Yankeetown if I'm not mistaken. I think they work with a rebuilder down here. I hope this helps! ![]() Well that doesn't sound too good if they are having superchargers supplied by another company in the US with leaks and drop shipping them. The one I recommended is in the US, has an excellent reputation for quality, and customer service so I would be surprised to see any post sale issue. The other problem is if the part comes from Canada to the US you will have US Customs duties imposed and brokerage fees. If the OP would tell us what is wrong specifically other than a general noise statement maybe we can guide him to individual parts since any snout such as bad bearings or coupler issue(s) can be done DIY. BTW - Your first link doesn't work.
