rubbing brakes

My brakes have been making this rubbing sound over the last few weeks. I had my brake pads changed about a year ago so I don't think it would be that?

Re: rubbing brakes

Take a look at them. It could be anything from a seized caliper to lack of lubrication on the slide pins. Uneven wear on the inside pad is probably caliper related and outside would be pins. If your brake pedal pulsates, get your rotor turned. These brakes are not forgiving and have to be properly maintained to work as intended.

Re: rubbing brakes

Actually, I've had this happen by simply having cheap-ass pads, even though the pads had plenty of pad left and the calipers were working properly. Is the rubbing coming from the front or rear?
