Hi there. I have a 2001 3.1 Pontiac Grand Prix, and both the headlamps of it are cracked, so I have just bought a new pair of them, OEM original. The question is if it is too hard to change them by myself, I have changed the lights bulbs on both lamps, but it is surely much more work to change the hole set of headlamps, including the corner lights on both. Can I do it myself or should I send it to someone with more experience?
Thank you!!! |

Re: Replacing Headlamps
it really isnt hard. there are 2 bolts holding the assembly in. i cant remember exactly what size they are. i believe the are 10mm. just remoove the 2 bolts and slide the assembly out. the only bi*ch of a part is getting it back in

Re: Replacing Headlamps
Very simple job. The headlamp assemblies come off the car with just 2-10mm headed bolts that attach through the top. If all you received was the lenses, they detach from the adjusters/brackets via some screws through the back side. Should take less than an hour to do both sides.
