Question Windshield Wipers

I just bought a 1999 740i Sport. It is flawless...except for the windshield wipers. Does anyone have a recommendation for aftermarket wipers that work well with the slope and contour of the 740i windshield?

Go to the dealer and buy new rubber blades and replace them yourself. It is pretty easy actually. The old ones come out by releasing the metal parts from the blade frame ar the bottom of each wiper. Once the metal clip is free, the rubber parts and the metal strips can be pulled out. Insert the metal from the old rubber blades into the new ones and insert them in reverse of what you did to pull them out. Press in until the metal parts clip into place at the back again.

Wink 2000 bmw wiper

The factory originals on the 2000 740i sport work great - but not a long between changes.

More 740i Sport Questions

Where can I get a copy of the recommended service manual for a 1999 740i Sport? Can someone provide a list of items that I should be looking to do...for example, rotate and balance the wheels, engine tune, chassis lube, replace shocks, etc.....

Help,
M
