Unhappy Doors won't lock! Window lift arm bent!

Hi all, I'm new to this site. I hope you can help me!

When I try to lock my doors from inside or outside they lock and then unlock right away on their own, what's wrong? is it a short? has this ever happened to you?

Sometimes, a warning sign comes on that my tail lights aren't working but then the warning sign goes off on it's own and when I check my tail lights, they are fine.

Finally, one day my husband put the driver side window down all the way (I had always left it 1/2 way up). when I tried to put it up, it came out of the tracks so it started tilting forward and then I heard a POP. We opened up the door and it turns out that the arm got bent (probably in the process of me trying to put it up). We tried straightening it but it won't do, plus, we can't get it perfectly straight while it's still in the door but we can't take it off ourselves because it's bolted to the door, not screwed. Anyway, I'm trying to avoid the shop cuz they charge so much... how do I remove those bolts? and where do I find a new/used arm? I'm thinking a BMW wrecking yard -- is there one in LA COUNTY? Santa Monica area?

Thank you!
