91 capri xr2 wont crank over

I just replaced the oil pressure sender with a mechanical one, and now the car wont even crank over. any idea as to why? I can't find any loose connections/shorts so i dont think thats the problem. The fuel pump kicks on still so I dont think it's because the ECU wont let the starter kick over. I dont even hear the cylenoid kick. nothing.. any help would be appreciated.

What did you do with the existing wiring. I would leave the old one hooked up and install the mechanical one some where else. You must have grounded something when you made the change.

Re: 91 capri xr2 wont crank over

Acutally, the problem was quite simple. My dad pulled the old sender out and knocked off a wire from the starter cylenoid. I hooked the wire back up after discovering the problem and she runs like a charm now with the exception of the turbo wich seems to have a blown oil seal internally.
