spark plugs

I have a 3.3 litre 2001 Dodge Caravan that probably should have spark plugs changed. My question is this: are there after market plugs that work well or do I need to get dealer plugs, as I have been told.
thanks

Re: spark plugs

Every manufacturer touts their own goods. There is nothing to void warranties or any other documents that say you cannot use other after market parts. The after market plugs are made to meet or exceed the manufacturers requirements. Mechanics also have their favorites. I prefer Autolite or Champion plugs for Chrysler products myself. The decision is yours, however I would use the slightly more expensive Platinum variety of whatever you decide to use.
