2000 Blazer no start

I thought it was fuel pump but swaped out with known good one and still will not start. It just cranks over and over and over with out starting. I dont have a scan tool and oviously cant drive it to where one is. I was hoping this is a common problem and someone would know.

Thanks
Coop

Re: 2000 Blazer no start

Which engine? Looking up in freeonline service manual it appears to be a 4.3.

Autozone , Checkers, etc. will rent a scanners with a deposit and when returned the deposit is also returned, that maybe a way to scan.

Do you have spark at spark plugs, take a spare plug or spark tester available at parts stores (inexpensive) and hook it to a spark plug wire and ground to see if there is spark. Blue spark is good and yellow is weak.

Check camshaft sensor, coil, ignition module.

When was fuel filter last changed?

Test fuel pressure with fuel pressure gauge and report readings.

Does fuel pump operate or is fuel pump relay bad? Check fuses.
