The instrument lights on our 98 Windstar are out. How difficult are they to replace??

I dont think all your Instrument bulbs are out.. I think you need to check into your Dimmer control right next to your Headlight switch. But before you check your dimmer, Check your fuses first under the dash..
The Dash Pod or Cluster has a few bulbs inside not just ONE..
They dont blow out at the same time.

Mess with the dimmer knob and see if you get anything kinda of flicker, best to do this in a dark garage or at night.

Did you ever figure out the problem?. I bought a 98 windstar with the same problem. Everything is fine and the cluster gauges are fine, but the lights don't work. The dimmer works on the radio and the A/C dash light but nothing on the cluster. Please help!
