Where to Buy a MAF Sensor On-line?

Anyone know where I can buy a MAF sensor on-line at a reasonable price for a 97 Lesabre? I priced one locally and it was about $160. Seems rather steep. I thought there might be a better deal somewhere. Thanks.

Re: Where to Buy a MAF Sensor On-line?

I bought a MAF sensor from RockAuto.com for $110 + $70 core charge, but I got the $70 back when I returned the core.

Re: Where to Buy a MAF Sensor On-line?

You might want to consider looking for one in the “pre-owned” graveyards. (PC term for JY) Most OEM used units are better than the Cardone rebuilt units. The remanufactured units seem to be poor quality and probably the rebuild process is subcontracted to Mexican, or Chinese labor!

If you do buy a rebuilt unit, get the “Lifetime Warranty” only, most of them have only a 1-year warranty! Advanced sells both, Borg Warner (BWD) and Niehoff , new units for $105. & $111. ea. respectively, with a $75.00 core, however, they have only one year warranty and both are “Honcho in Mexico”. BTW, if you check the pre-owned GY, any of the cars listed below with the VIN (K) engine have the same MAF!
