incomplete sale

After making a sale with the dealer for a 2008 Grand Caraven, I was told by the salesperson that they cannot locate a vehicle of the specifications we agreed on. The only choice left appears to factory build this vehicle, and it would take 2 months to do so.

I am somewhat surprised by how long it takes to build the vehicle, I would have thought it takes shorter than 2 months. My concern is whether the dealer can change the terms of the sale 2 months later, i.e. the trade-in vehicle is going to worth less 2 months later. Can I cancel the deal without forefeiting the deposit?
