1986 s-10 blazer problems

I am trying to find the fuel filter and I don't know what it lookes like

What engine?
Carb or fuel injection?
Best way to see what it looks like is to stop at the parts place and look at one and go ahead buy it while looking at it.
Unless it has a carb.
To find it on yours follow the main fuel line back from TBI on engine to fuel tank.
Some of them oin them years were on bottom or back of engine.
Others are in main fuel line on left inner frame under drivers seat area.
