moving the ac/heater controls

i doupt any of you have done this but, i saw the mod in a picture, a 91-93 style dash with the deck in the place of the stock ac control. i really want to do it when i put a console in.

taking out the the my stereo(single DIN) and the kit. Then move the a/c controls to the opening where me stereo is right now.
So my stereo will be closer.

when i get my console made, Im going to takeout the OEM cup holder and ashtray to fit a double DIN, so have the screen below the windows.
Use the stereo pocket as a hidden compartment.
