Job Finished! But not without side effects

I finally finished replacing the lower intake manifold gasket. It was a ball buster to say the least. After the first start lights were going off everywhere and i had some misfires. After some wire jiggling and such i started it a second time and everything seemed to go well. However the emergency brake light stays on. I already detached the e-brake switch and it didnt do squat. I have absolutely no idea what happened or how to fix it. Can anyone solve this dilemma? I bet not.

Are you speaking of the RED Brake light on the dash. The PARKING BRAKE will turn that light on if it is engaged and if I recall correctly the brake master cylinder low fluid level switch will also turn the light on. Your owners manual should give you information about that light. Check your brake master cylinder fluid level and if OK, make sure nothing has happened to the wiring when you were doing the intake gasket.
